LUXE PACK Monaco 2026 Opens Today: Meet PACKPRINCE at Booth DF01
The global luxury packaging community comes together in Monaco today. PACKPRINCE, together with Spindler, welcomes brands, designers and packaging professionals to discover premium packaging structures, materials and manufacturing possibilities.
MONACO — September 28, 2026 — LUXE PACK Monaco 2026 officially opens today at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, bringing together the international luxury packaging community for three days of creativity, craftsmanship, innovation and new packaging ideas.
For PACKPRINCE, Day 1 is about more than displaying finished boxes. It is an opportunity to meet luxury brands face to face and turn packaging ideas into practical conversations about structure, materials, inserts, surface finishing and mass-production feasibility.
Welcome to Booth DF01
This year's presentation brings together creative luxury packaging structures designed for premium spirits, fragrance, beauty products, jewelry, gifts and other high-value products.
Visitors can see packaging up close, experience how different structures open and close, compare materials and finishing details, and discuss how an initial packaging concept can be developed into a production-ready solution.
Luxury Packaging You Can See, Touch and Experience
A premium box is not defined by appearance alone. The way the customer interacts with the packaging—from the first touch to the product reveal—can influence how the entire brand experience is perceived.
At LUXE PACK Monaco 2026, PACKPRINCE is presenting custom packaging ideas for a range of premium applications.
From Decoration to Structure
One of the most interesting directions in today's luxury packaging market is the move away from relying only on additional decoration to create a premium impression.
Foil stamping, embossing, debossing, specialty papers and other finishing techniques remain important, but structure itself can also become a powerful part of the visual identity.
A distinctive opening method, a carefully engineered insert or an unexpected product reveal can create recognition before the customer even touches the product inside.
Create a ceremonial reveal and work particularly well for premium spirits, fragrance and limited-edition products.
Combine a familiar premium form with flexible insert configurations, magnetic closures and a large branding surface.
Use shape itself to create distinction, reducing the need to rely on excessive graphic decoration.
Inserts, doors, layers and opening sequences can turn the unboxing process into part of the luxury brand story.
Sustainability and Digital Innovation Are in Focus
Luxury packaging is also evolving beyond appearance. Material efficiency, responsible sourcing, recyclability, reusability and digital interaction are increasingly being considered alongside premium presentation.
For brands, this creates a new design challenge: packaging still needs to feel special, but premium presentation does not necessarily need to mean more materials, more layers or more decoration.
Paper-based inserts, molded fiber solutions, carefully selected specialty papers and more efficient structural engineering can all be evaluated according to the protection, presentation and sustainability requirements of a project.
Smart packaging is another area receiving increasing attention. QR codes, connected packaging and NFC-enabled experiences can extend the relationship between the physical package and the customer, supporting product information, authentication, brand storytelling, after-sales service and recycling guidance.
Bringing Manufacturing Experience to Monaco
An attractive packaging concept is only the beginning. For a design to become a successful commercial package, it must also be manufacturable, repeatable and suitable for the product it is designed to protect.
At Booth DF01, the conversation can begin with practical questions such as:
How should a fragile perfume bottle be secured inside the box?
Which insert provides the right balance between protection and presentation?
Can a premium structure be simplified without losing its luxury character?
Which finishing techniques are suitable for consistent mass production?
How should the box be engineered around the product's dimensions and weight?
Can unnecessary material be reduced while preserving the unboxing experience?
These details are what turn an attractive visual concept into packaging that can be sampled, tested and manufactured consistently across a full production run.
Day 1: Let the Conversations Begin
The first day of LUXE PACK Monaco 2026 is now underway.
Over the next three days, the PACKPRINCE team looks forward to meeting fragrance, beauty, wines and spirits, jewelry and premium product brands from around the world.
Monaco provides the ideal environment to exchange ideas, explore new materials, study emerging packaging directions and discuss how creative concepts can be transformed into real packaging.
